DOMICILIARY CARE
L.C.S.Care Support Services offers a domiciliary care service which provides the opportunity for our clients to be cared for in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, aiming to help them remain independent without compromising on the quality of their care. This service means our clients don’t have to go into hospital or a care home, and allows their family and friends to have the freedom to be more directly involved with the personal and nursing care. As well as supplying you with extra help around the home, this service provides an alternative to hospitals and residential homes, and all planning is tailored to meet your exact requirements.
Our specialist care includes post-operative rehabilitation, Dementia, end of life care, physical and sensory disabilities, chronic illness, drug and alcohol dependency, mental health care, and learning disabilities care.
Our typical domiciliary care package specifically includes general care and personal hygiene, washing, dressing and bathing, domestic assistance, laundry and shopping, cooking, escorting, rapid response/assessment, and re-ablement. All of our carers are selected carefully and subjected to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, while they also take the Skills for Care Induction Standard, and continue with on-going training and development which helps them to advance with their NVQ Level 2 Certification in Health and Social Care. The commitment we have towards staff development has earned us IIP (Investors in People) recognition.
Another factor of our services includes being able to send fully trained carers to work in NHS hospitals or in community settings, and the roles can include washing and dressing, feeding, helping with mobilisation, toileting, bed making, assisting with overall comfort, and monitoring the conditions of patients by taking temperatures, pulse, respiration and weight.
